DM - How to add attachments 2026
How to add attachments to a Form
Drag and Drop:
You can select the source document and Drag and Drop onto the form.
Please note where dragging and dropping files. Dropping a file in the header portion versus lower portion of a form and on certain tabs can cause the file to be indexed in different locations.
Add Attachment Form:
In the form you are working with, use the "Paper Clip" Icon to:
- Show Attachments: Launches Attachment form where you can then select Add.
- Add Attachments: Opens Explorer and Launches DM Attachment Detail Form.
- Index Search: Here you can search for attachments or use the "Add Selected to Parent Record " feature and transfer attachments.
